I had walked past this restaurant every day then finally one Sunday morning I decided pop in.
And this is when my love affair with Cascalote Latin Bistro began.
Cascalote is a small family owned business run by chef Julian Hoyos.

Hoyos has a extensive culinary background, he began his cooking career at the young age of seventeen.

“Cascalote” is named after a small farm village located in Hoyos hometown of Puebla, Mexico.
Inside the cozy restaurant the walls are adorned with beautiful Mexican art.

WALL ART
As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted by the hostess, her demeanor was warm and inviting.
“Party of One” I exclaimed. I solo dine out 85% of the time and I love it.I listen to music, read a book or sometimes I just catch up one of my favorite Netflix shows.
Next, I requested a window seat, it was still very early so the hostess was able to accommodate my request with no problem.
Then it was time to check out some of their Brunch entrees.
There were so many delicious dishes to choose from dishes like Sizzling Fajitas and Huevos Rancheros.
I was in the mood to try a little bit of everything so I went with their Brunch “Paella”

The Paella smelled amazing and it tasted it even better.
This dish consisted of–
Shrimp, Squid, Jalapenos ,Chorizo,Saffron Rice, Poblano Piperade garnished with a Fried Egg topped off with Cilantro.

It was absolutely Delicious an explosion of taste & flavour. It was spicy but also sweet, the combination of the fried egg and rice gave it a nice consistency.
