For my recent trip to Ocean City Maryland I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites.
I chose this location because it was central to everything.
Only walking distance from most of the local restaurants and just a few blocks away from the Ocean City Convention Center.
When you first walk into the lobby there is a coffee station right next to check-in.
Which I thought was a nice touch.
Especially as a avid coffee drinker like myself.
THE LOBBY
Just pass the lobby you run into the very spacious dining and lounge areas.
Both of these areas were really nice and clean very well kept.
LOUNGE/DINING AREA
After you pass the dining /lounge areas you get to the elevators leading up to the rooms.
THE ROOMS
This 2-Queen bedroom was nice and very spacious.
There were a few things here and there that could use an update.
Nevertheless I was very pleased with the rooms here.
Their bed and pillows were super comfortable!
Additionally the Balcony was a nice little treat as well.
Providing views of Coastal Highway, local restaurants and the beautiful ocean.

There is also a 24-hour fitness center on the property.
As much as I tell myself that I will workout while on vacation, I don’t.
It rarely ever happens.
Maybe once in my lifetime since I began traveling I got a workout in.
I have a lot of admiration for the folks that are committed to do it!

Again very well kept and clean.
Next we have the two pools on the property.
One Indoor pool and one Outdoor pool.

Obviously the outdoor pool is seasonal only.
But the patio deck is open all year round.
Last but not least we get to my favorite topic, the food!
THE KITCHEN AREA
In comparison to other Hilton properties I have visited here in the states or even internationally so far this was the worst.
For all that you pay at these properties I was at least expecting an made to order Waffle station or Omelet station.
Rather than hard Biscuits, runny Eggs and bland Sausage Gravy.
THE BREAKFAST
While this may be an otherwise great property because of its location and various amenities it is lacking in the culinary department.
In conclusion I would suggest this hotel only if you don’t plan on eating here.
