With the vast of amount of wineries in Napa Valley here are three of my favorites.
First up we have the opulent Domaine Carneros Winery.
“Domaine Carneros is a singular Napa Valley winery best known as a small grower-producer of méthode traditionelle sparkling wine, Pinot Noir,“
This winery and its grounds are absolutely beautiful.
“A landmark California estate winery and château”
“Our expansive outdoor terrace provides an idyllic setting for your wine tasting experience.”
In addition to the beautiful winery and chateau there is also a really charming gift shop on the grounds.
Now let’s talk wine!
While there were many great tasting options I went with the Grande Tasting Flight .

All tastings are seated and led by an experienced wine professional
To sum things up I had a fantastic time with my girls at Domaine Carneros.
I would highly recommend this winery for any girls trips, anniversaries or dates .
Secondly we have the only black owned winery in Napa the Brown Estate.
2) Brown Estate Vineyards
“In 1980 our parents purchased an abandoned ranch in the eastern hills of the Napa Valley.”
To begin with the whole hidden door speakeasy vibe is super cool.
Also I immediately fell in love with its locale in the Downtown Napa Valley area.
Since this winery is the only black-owned winery in Napa Valley it does book up pretty quickly.
Because of this we made a reservation ahead of time as recommended on their website.
Reservations strongly recommended for Friday & Saturday — waitlist available on request.
When I arrived the place was already pretty crowded with most seats already filled.
Not long after my arrival I was greeted by the hostess and lead to my seat.
Their tasting room is super spacious, warm and very inviting.
A feeling like you are sitting in your own living room with friend’s.
I absolutely loved the laid back atmosphere here.
Now let’s talk wine!
For my tasting I paired BTG – 2021 Betelgeuse Sauv Blanc & BTG – 2021 Betelgeuse Rose with a small Cheese Board.
I like my wines on the sweeter side so the BTG – 2021 Betelgeuse Rose was my favorite of the two.
My cheese board was perfection and the homemade Jam was mouthwatering!
So good that I had to inquire if it was bottled and sold separately.
Unfortunately it was not but I was told that they get that request often!
In conclusion Brown Estate is a nice time and a great way to support a Black Owned Business in Napa Valley.
Last but not least we have the Housley Winery also located in Downtown Napa.
3) HOUSLEY NAPA VALLEY
One of the cool thing about Downtown Napa is that many of the tastings rooms are in walking distance of each other.
With that being said we decided to take a over to Housley Napa after our Brown Estate tasting.
Housley Napa is owned by famous actress Tamera Campbell and journalist husband Adam Housley.
A few minutes later I arrived, the walk was over was very short.
Their “Living Room” -“Come as friends.Leave as Family” motto was immediately felt.
The decor is simple yet elegant at the same time.
Now lets talk wine!
I actually wanted to try a little of all of their blends.
Especially since they all sounded so robust and delicious.
For that reason I decided to go with the 5 Wine Tasting for $25 option.
Its no wonder the Housley’s tasting room was voted “Best In Napa’.
No only is their decor and customer service awesome but also their wines are delicious.
I really had a great time here and would absolutely be visiting again in the future.
