One of my absolute favorite restaurants to celebrate Cinco de Mayo is at Viva Margarita.
Founded in 2016, Viva Margarita was established with the intention to introduce authentic Mexican cuisine to the New Jersey and the tri – state area.
If you are looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant then you should over to edge-water NJ.
Just a 35- minute drive from Harlem the GWB toll is well worth the trip.
This location has a huge parking lot,with self parking or valet parking.
Since parking in New York City can be downright hellish this is most certainly a plus.
First we handed the keys to the valet and took a look around the outdoor space.
Their outdoor dining space is absolutely massive.
Oh and did I mention there is also a food truck! This place was getting cooler by the minute.
Next we made our way into the restaurant.
I was already in love with their outdoor space, I said their is no way they can top that.
Well I was wrong! The indoor space was even more beautiful. The Mexican culture could be found in every corner of the restaurant.
Just a stunning array of vibrant colors that almost seemed to jump out at you.
Shortly after that we were seated and handed our menus! It was time to get our grub on!
We started off with some cocktails of course!
Right after the waiter brought out their mouthwatering handmade guacamole served with chips.
Last but not least if was time for our entrees!
Wow!Everything was so delicious and as you can see the portion sizes were huge!
We were stuffed and took the rest home for dinner,everything except the cocktails of course. ๐
Undoubtedly the guys over a Viva Margarita have accomplished their mission in offering its patrons an authentic Mexican dining experience in New Jersey.
In conclusion you should make your way to Edgewater NJ asap!
