On my recent trip to Ocean City Maryland I stayed at my first Minimalist boutique Hotel.
“In todayโs fast-paced world, where simplicity and elegance are highly valued, minimalist design has taken the hotel industry by storm.”
The property I stayed at was the Tru by Hilton which launched back in 2016.
Not only did Tru by Hilton win my heart, but also everyone in my party.
When I first walked in I immediately fell in love with their beautiful and vibrant lobby & play zone areas.
THE LOUNGE/LOBBY AREA

PLAY ZONE
Also on the lobby level you have the Command Center/Market as well as the Work Zone.

As an avid late night snacker I especially enjoyed the Command Center/Market.
Next up we have the guestrooms I booked their 2 Queen Bed Guestroom.
BEDROOM
AMENITIES LIST
*Sleeps 4
*Mini refrigerator
*Serta Suite Dreams(R) bedding
*LCD TV
*Hairdryer
*Iron
*Iron/ironing board
*Bathroom amenities
*Connecting rooms
*Radio alarm clock
*Air conditioning
It should be noted that there are NO closets or drawers in any of the rooms.

So for someone like myself who routinely over-packs I immediately went in to panic mood.
But in the end I do believe it was a good thing because the lack of space forced me to be a little more organized.
Because I can admit albeit shamefully I am the messy friend on the Girl’s Trip!
BATHROOM

The bathrooms are a pretty decent size and the body wash, body lotion and hand soaps were all delightful.
Although this girls trip did make it out of the Group-Chat we still have not made it to workout at a hotel gym! One of these days!lol
Fitness Center

We do however always make our way to the hotel pool for a dip!
I loved how their pool is just tucked away at the edge of the fourth floors.

Blogger Bag: For some reason pool chlorine irritates my feet so I purchased these really cool swim shoes from Amazon for the trip.

Last but not least lets talk food & drinks!
Although I didn’t love the breakfast selection at this property.
BREAKFAST

They did have a really cool pancake maker that made some pretty tasty mini-pancakes.
