For my most recent trip to Poughkeepsie once again I stayed at a Hampton Inn & Suites.
Again I chose this location because it was central to everything.
Although this location is driving distance from most of the local restaurants it is still a great choice.
Another reason I love staying at Hampton Inn & Suites is their complimentary parking.
This location in particular had two huge parking lots which is always a plus!
The layout of this location is similar to most others.
An example of this is when you first walk into the lobby you have the front desk.
THE LOBBY
As well the coffee station which is probably one of my favorite amenities.
Just pass the lobby you run into the very spacious dining and lounge areas.
Both of these areas were really nice and clean very well kept which has been my experience at most Hilton properties.
LOUNGE/DINING AREA
After you pass the dining /lounge areas you get to the elevators leading up to the rooms.
THE ROOMS
This 2-Queen bedroom was nice but not very spacious.
Additionally their outdoor patio seating area was a nice treat as well.
I have a tremendous amount of admiration for the folks that are committed to do it!
FITNESS CENTER
Again the Fitness Center clean and very well kept.
Next we have the two pools on the property.
One Standard Pool and one Whirlpool.

Last but not least we get to my favorite topic, the food!
THE KITCHEN AREA
THE BREAKFAST
First you have a few stations with some breakfast items.
Next you have the “Hot Food” station.
Besides the waffle machine being a little wonky overall the hot breakfast was decent.
In conclusion I would recommend a stay here.
