As the year comes to a close and the holiday season is upon us, unquestionably brunch is always a good idea.

Especially brunch at New York’s famed Clinton Street Bakery.

This is one of my absolute favorite brunch spots to hit up on the weekends in New York.

Clinton St Baking Co. is a classic American restaurant with bakery located on NYC’s Lower East Side. Since 2001

Unfortunately the lines are usually extremely long on most weekends.

So I decided to go on a Tuesday at noon to possibly avoid a long wait.

However to my surprise that was not the case.

I learned very quickly that a wait at this restaurant is inevitable, even if it’s on a Tuesday at noon!

The hostess advised that there would be an hour wait.

By the time we looked for parking in these NYC streets our hour wait time was up.

The hostess advised that we might have to sit at the bar next to the door..Brrr!

Needless to say, after waiting an hour we were hoping to have a nice cozy booth!

Well… God must’ve answered the quick prayer I had said.

Because, lo and behold a booth opened up while we were literally pleading with the hostess for better seating arrangements.

We were shown to our seats and handed our menus. Whohoo! Time to Chow down!

We started off with some Brunch Cocktails of course! Even though it was only noon time in New York City. It was surely five o clock somewhere!

All of the entrees on the menu looked delicious, but we couldn’t resist the “Chicken & Waffles”.

Although the chicken wasn’t the bone- in- cut that I am accustomed to eating ,it was still very tasty and the warm maple butter added a nice flavor to the waffles.

Above all, our dining experience was enjoyable I hope to visit Clinton Street Bakery annually for the holidays!
