Here is your reminder that there is Banging BBQ in the Bronx!

The Mott Haven section of the Bronx is fast becoming a restaurant and bistro hub.

I already have some favorites across the Willis Ave Bridge like Beatstro ,Charlies Bar & Grill, Milk Burger & Monte’s Brick Oven Pizza.

Would I soon be adding Hudson Smokehouse to my favorites list?

Hudson Smokehouse opened their doors back on March 7th 2020 to rave reviews from the locals.

An then the unimaginable happened, the city was put on lock down and stay at home orders were put in place.

Hudson Smokehouse hadn’t even been open for a full month when the pandemic hit.

So like most restaurants Hudson Smokehouse had to change their entire business model.

Instead of dining in they had to pivot to a take out and delivery menu only.

And so my first time trying Hudson Smokehouse BBQ was me placing an order online and going to pick it up for takeout.

Now lets talk food ,because lets be honest what else matters Right?

Here is what we ordered to go.

1/2 Rack Ribs
Mac n Cheese
Collard Greens

Buffalo Chicken /with Bleu Cheese Slaw with Old Bay French Fries.

Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious.

Needless to say I started taking a lot more trips across the Willis Ave Bridge.

And I would highly recommend that you do to!
