On my recent trip to New Orleans for Tales I stayed at the Roosevelt Hotel.
I chose this location because it was central to everything.
“Just steps away from the French Quarter, The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, is a beacon of New Orleans Hospitality.”

Only walking distance from most local restaurants and just a few blocks from Bourbon Street.

When you first walk into the lobby to check-in you are greeted by beautiful chandeliers and statues.
“Visitors are invited to step back in time to experience a hotel whose very constitution is uniquely New Orleans.”
THE LOBBY

“Displaying over 130 years of grandeur, the Grand Dame hotel is both an elegant time capsule and an architectural marvel.”
Undoubtedly a beautiful lobby full of opulence and grandeur.
After I checked it it was time to head up to my room.
THE ROOMS
The 2-Queen bedrooms here are big and beautiful!

And could probably sleep four to five people comfortably.
The additional sitting area and larger feel is ideal for a family or small group of four.
This room is designed to comfortably accommodate a family of up to four. The bathroom features a full-sized bathtub with shower. Other features in the room include a 55-inch flat-screen TV, writing desk, coffee maker, a dual mini-bar/personal fridge, and modern amenities. WiFi is offered to Honors Members free of charge.
BATHROOM
On the contrary the bathroom was actually on the smaller side.
Nonetheless it was clean and well stocked with fresh towels and wash clothes.

After I got settled I unpacked answered a few emails and showered.
Then I headed down to the rooftop pool to meet up with the girls.
“Soak up the sun from the poolside bar or one of our cabanas that offer additional privacy for our guests.”
We ordered a few frozen Cocktails and Chips with Salsa.

I only ate at the hotel once during my stay at The Roosevelt.
The first night I arrived I was to tired to go out so I ordered from their in room dining overnight menu.

I went with their Chicken and Andouille Gumbo & Rooseveltโs Famous Beignets for dessert.
Chicken and Andouille Gumbo $11
Rooseveltโs Famous Beignets $9
