Thai food has to be one of my top five cuisines to indulge in.
I have been lucky enough to find authentic Thai food restaurants here in New York.
Mali Thai Kitchen is one of those restaurants that offer a unique authentic experience into the Thailand street food scene.
I stopped in for lunch one Thursday afternoon.
Weekends tend to be a little more crowded naturally.
Firstly we started off with some appetizers.
After looking over the appetizer menu,

We decided to go with their Pork & Shrimp Dumpling.

Let me just say two each was not enough! I could have eaten all four by myself.
They were absolutely delicious. The sweet soy sauce made the flavor in the dumplings explode.
Next it was time for us to order our Cocktails.

We went with the Brooklyn East IPA and the Sparkling Lychee.
I loved the extra mint they added!
Some restaurants really hold back on the mint but for me the more mint the better!

Then it was time for us to order our entrees.
My friend ordered the restaurants popular Thai Fried Rice dish.

This dish is made with egg, tomato,Chinese broccoli, scallion and onion.
I love everything spicy so for that reason I ordered the Green Curry.

This particular dish is made with Bamboo shoot, eggplant, bell pepper, and basil in coconut green curry sauce.

Which also came with a side of coconut rice.
This is why I really love Thai food, its all the fusions of flavor in bite for me!
Ordinally I would order dessert but my curry dish was pretty hearty, so I skipped dessert this time.
Nevertheless, I did order one of their absolutely delicious Thai Iced Teas for the road!

In a word, you should absolutely hit up Mali Thai Kitchen.
