Monte Carlo Diner serving simple yet hearty Brunch dishes.
East Harlem has a fairly new Diner located on 111.st & second avenue.

Chef and owner Alex Grimpas choose this location because he saw that there were no diners on this side of town.

He also wanted to provide a more elevated diner experience.

And so he started with the layout and design of the diner.

Serving all of your favorite traditional diner foods as well as breakfast and brunch.

It should be noted that the wine list here is specifically curated to this East Harlem neighborhood.

Admittedly I am a sucker for a fresh brewed cup of coffee sitting in a diner booth reading or blogging.

Or just sitting outside and people watching having girl talk with my tribe.

I immediately liked the feel and vibe here!
No frills no fuss just fresh baked goods and fresh pots of coffee.

Now lets talk food.
After looking over the menu I decided to go with the “Harlem Breakfast Feast”.
Harlem Breakfast
Feast 18.95
(2)Eggs, Choose One: Pancakes, Waffle,
or French Toast
Ham, Bacon and Pork Sausage
SUBSTITUTE TURKEY BACON
AND SAUSAGE 2.50
First and foremost I started off with a fresh cup of coffee with cream.
Following that I started with some Turkey Bacon along with Turkey Link sausages.

They were both very pretty tasty and prepared well.
After that it was time for my Home Fries.

Again pretty good.
The red and green pepper as well as the onion ratio was perfect.
Next I dug into my Scrambled Eggs with American cheese.

My eggs were nice and cheesy just like I like them.
Last but not least my Pancakes arrived.

I ordered mine plain but you can get them with a variety of toppings including 2 scoops of ice cream!
My pancakes were good nice and buttery Homestyle.
In conclusion I enjoyed my dining experience at the Monte Carlo Diner.
If you are looking for some good comfort food I would recommend this spot.
