Did you know that Americans consume more than 4.5 billion Tacos a year?
In a city of 8.3 million people, we New Yorker’s love our tacos. There are currently 977 Mexican restaurants in the city, with the majority of them serving Tacos.
One of my favorite New York Taco joints to hit up is Street Tacos.
Street Taco: Casual bar and taquerias featuring heritage-driven Mexican street food and inspired Mexican street art. Our menu fuses Mexican culinary traditions with contemporary fare, paired with an expansive collection of classic and modern cocktails crafted from house-made ingredients.
Located on the corner of East 26th and 3rd Ave, Street Taco matches the energy of the neighborhood.
They have a very extensive menu offering everything ranging from Chorizo Tacos to Roasted Cauliflower Tacos.

Since my diet is mostly Pescatarian, I typically order seafood/fish tacos.

To begin, I tried the Blackened Fish Taco.
BLACKENED FISH
Market Fish, Slaw, Jalapeno Aioli, Cilantro
$6
The Jalapeno Aioli and the Cilantro together! omg. So freaking good!

Then it was time to try their Fried Shrimp Taco.
FRIED SHRIMP
Slaw, Sweet Chili, Cilantro
$6

I am a Cilantro addict, so I really enjoyed the crunch of the Shrimp, coupled with the Sweet Chili & Cilantro.
Lastly it was time for me to try their Tuna Tartare Taco.
TUNA TAR TARE
Soy, Sesame, Yuzu, Onion, Avocado Crema, Cilantro, Won-ton
$6

The Tuna Tartare Taco was actually my favorite of the three.
It was savory and delicious the Won-ton Taco is an absolute game changer!
Afterwards it was time for dessert!
