If you have ever driven down Second Ave in East Harlem,
then I am sure that you have seen the crowds of people waiting to get into Ricardo Steakhouse.
2004 brought the opening of a new dining classic: Ricardo’s. Inside the exposed brick walls of this Harlem restaurant, Ricardo’s beautifully blends the traditional downtown steakhouse with the rich culture of Harlem
Ricardo’s is really one of those restaurants that anyone can enjoy.
Be it a client lunch or a anniversary dinner the mood is right for all occasions.
For me its my go to spot to catch up with my homegirls.
While I do love the weekend vibe at Ricardo because its literally like a big party,
if I want to have girl talk I do try to pick a quieter day during the week.
This time I chose a Monday night for dinner which was perfect. Nice and quiet!
Firstly we started off with a Shrimp Salad as an appetizer that we shared.
In addition to this each table gets a side of the most delicious toasted garlic bread that comes with a tomato dipping sauce.
After that it was time for us to choose our Cocktails.
I ordered an Bellini and my homegirl ordered a “Crash Boat“.
Last but not least it was time for our entrees.
The dinner menu at Ricardo is pretty impressive with so many delicious options to choose from.
Nevertheless we couldn’t order everything on the menu although given the chance I absolutely would have.Ha!
We decided to go with their Lobster Ravioli & Chicken Marsala dishes.
LOBSTER RAVIOLI

CHICKEN MARSALA
Pan Seared Chicken Breast • Homemade
Mashed Potatoes • Roasted Vegetables Marsala

Both of our meals were absolutely delicious and we enjoyed them tremendously.
I had the Lobster Ravioli which was the perfect combination of tangy and creamy.
The nice big chunks of shrimp and lobster was perfection!
Without a doubt this is one of my favorite dishes to order from Ricardo’s.
Between the two appetizers and our hearty entrées we did not have room for Dessert although we certainly thought about.
On the whole as per usual our dining experience at Ricardo was delightful.
