So let me tell you a story about the time I had a Chocolate-Covered February at The Hersey Hotel.
As a rule I always celebrate my birthday in a special way.
And depending on the year, I either do something super simple like dinner locally or I go all out.
The time I visited Hersey Pennsylvania happened to be a milestone birthday of mine.
I wanted to do something special but semi-local due to covid-19 pandemic at the time.
So I jumped in the ride and headed north to Hersey!
Four hours later I arrived excited of course and ready to see what Hersey Pennsylvania had to offer.
Turns out this small town with a population of just 13,738 was really big on Fun!
But first let’s discuss what you can do at the Hotel Hersey itself.
First and foremost let me just say that is hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and out.
Once we took a tour of the property it was time for me to check into my room.
There was a nice little birthday surprise waiting for me in my hotel room.
THE ROOMS
My hotel room was really nice and a pretty decent size.
The décor was very authentic and definitely had a historic feel to it.
Because I knew I would be driving for a few hours I booked myself a massage ahead of time.
So after I did all of my unpacking and had a nice hot shower I went down to the spa for my appointment.
THE SPA
My massage was blissful and relaxing, just what I needed after my long drive.
However I did have one complaint about the massage oil they used.
I booked the “Cocoa Massage” for 50min package.
The massage oil they used did not smell like chocolate at all.
When I asked the masseuse she informed me that they use Cocoa Butter as the main ingredient.
It could have just been my ignorance because when the description said “Cocoa Massage“.
I was thinking Chocolate not Cocoa Butter.
In spite of that little misunderstanding I enjoyed my Spa Day.
After my massage I was pretty tired and also hungry so I decided to order some room service and call it a night!
The food from room service was delicious everything arrived hot and in a timely manner.
The next morning I grabbed some breakfast at The Circular which is one of four restaurants located in the Hersey hotel, before heading to the indoor pool.
THE INDOOR POOL
It should be noted that there is an Outdoor Pool Complex as well as an Indoor Pool Complex.
And while the outdoor pool is only open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day the indoor pool complex is open all year round.
Later that day I went to gift shop to pick up a few surprises for family and friends.
GIFT SHOP
They really have the cutest plush toys as well as unique Hersey Co. items.
Afterwards I grabbed a pregame Cocktail and a little something to eat at The Iberian Lounge.
I had had dinner reservations at the local favorite Devon’s Seafood +Steak so I just wanted something small before dinner time.
To sum things up my stay at The Hersey Hotel was a pleasant one!
I would highly recommend a stay here for Birthdays, Valentines day or any other Special Occasion!
