Every now and then I treat myself to a”Cheat Meal”
And Milk Burger is one of my favorite places to do that!

Milk Burger has been one of New York’s premiere Burger Joints for over ten years.
โWhatโs the secret to making great burgers?โ The answer is simple โ itโs all about consistency and keeping the same high-quality recipe every time. This is the philosophy of Erik Mayor, owner of Milk Burger.
I first discovered this restaurant at its original location which was in East Harlem.
They have now since moved to the Mott-Haven section of the Bronx.

The food and service here has consistently been good year in & year out.
So for me personally it does not matter where they move to I will follow!
I truly value great customer service and hospitality.
And of course good quality food!
Inside the restaurant there is adequate seating for a quick bite.
Their busy times vary day to day but they do draw a crowd from the local businesses.

Now lets talk food.
Firstly I took a look at the menu.
Since I hadn’t been there in a while I wanted to see if there were any new items added to the menu.

First I started off with a Cocktail, I decided to go with “The Bronx Colada“

Hennessy , Coco Lopez Coconut Cream and Dole Pineapple Juice
My drink was really good, refreshing with just the right balance of ingredients.
Next it was time for my appetizer for that I went with the fried chicken wings ,Buffalo styled.

Buttery Buffalo sauce flavored wings
The wings were tasty although I would have liked them cooked a little harder.
After that it was time to dig into my entree which was the Cheese Fries with a Double Jalapeรฑo Cheeseburger!

Crinkle cut fries smothered with melted cheddar cheese
My cheddar fries were delicious.
Just the right amount of cheese, crisp and salt on the french fries.
Equally delicious was my double jalapeno cheese burger.

Black Angus Beef, Jalapeno sauce and melted Jack cheese
They say their are five elements that make for a good burger.
- Burger Flavor
- Crunch
- The Right Slice of Cheese
- Fresh Toppings
- Toasted Bun
Unquestionably my burger passed the test with flying colors!
Without a doubt all of the vegetables were fresh and the patties were nice and juicy!
Last but not least I had to grab a yummy Oreo Shake for the road!

REAL Oreo cookies blended with Vanilla Ice cream
