So this year I decided to take it back to Cali to celebrate my birthday.

I spent eight days there this time .

So I had a chance to visit parts of California that I hadn’t in the past.

Prior to this year I had only been to the Anaheim, Longbeach & Lynwood sections of California.

The first new city I had the pleasure of visiting was the city of Irvine.

Undoubtedly my favorite city that I have visited in California thus far.

I had the chance to eat at two new restaurants while there.

The first restaurant was Postino Wine Café.

Postino’s Wine Café has that electrifying organic energy that can only be felt in California.

Firstly the indoor décor is beautiful & spacious.

And with a super cool 90’s vibe.

I really loved their outdoor seating area as well!

Most definitely a nice chill vibe, that is undeniably California .

Now on to the delicious food and drinks.

We met up with one of our fellow black Bloggers that live in California.

Since she was familiar with this restaurant so we let her do all of the ordering.

First we started off with a tasting of some bold aromatic wines.

Then it was time to indulge in one of their tasty Charcuterie boards.

Prosciutto di parma, spanish chorizo, salami, whipped feta, chef’s cheese pick, olive, almond hummus, charred artichoke, blistered sweet pepper, crostini, and lavash bread

Next out came a mouthwatering Bruschetta Board.

Not long after the entrees started to arrive.

It should be noted that we literally finished everything here!

Especially since everything was so good, between the hours of girl talk and wine no crumbs were left!

We took breaks from time to time for the most part we were digging in!.So freaking good!

Last but certainly not least the decadent desserts were brought out.

Crème Brûlée
Chocolate Bouchon

Obviously we finished both desserts as well.

The Creme Brulé especially as it was the favorite of the two.

Shoutout to my girl Nkechi for picking such scrumptious & delicious dishes!

In the end we were full and extremely pleased with both the food and service at Postino’s Park Place.

In conclusion I would highly recommend visiting your nearest Postino location.
