So the other day I was in the mood for some Paella and decided to check out Boqueria.
I had heard that they served a really good Paella.
So I decided to check them out.
There are currently four locations here in New York City.
The location I visited is their Upper East Side Location.

“Boqueria Spanish Tapas Bar and Restaurant has become a staple in Manhattanโs Upper East Side neighborhood and a welcome respite for visitors to the neighborhoodโs beloved attractions like the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim Museum, and picturesque landmarks throughout Central Park.”
I arrived at around 5pm just in time for their Happy Hour.
HAPPY HOUR
Monday-Fridayย 3pm-6pm
Saturday-Sundayย 4pm-6pm
I really loved the indoor decor here, really cute and quaint.

Now lets talk Food & Drink!
First I started off with a pitcher of their Blanca|White Sangria.
BLANCA | WHITE
White Wine, Rum, White Peach

Unfortunately I did not like the way this pitcher of Sangria was made so I sent it back.
Instead I requested the white Sangria be swapped out for their traditional red.
TINTA | RED
Red Wine, Gin, Orange, Lemon

Clearly two different bartender’s prepared these two batches of Sangria.
Because the red was much better tasting than the white.
After that it was time for some Happy Hour Tapas.

I went with their Croquetas Jamon, Patatas Bravas & Mini Hamburguesa.
Croquetas Jamon
(m) 3 creamy Jamรณn croquettes, quince purรฉe

Patatas Bravas
(v) Crispy potatoes, salsa brava, pimentรณn, garlic allioli

MINI HAMBURGUESA
12 2 sliders, sobrasada-bacon jam, crispy Manchego cheese, garlic allioli

Although I did enjoy all three of my Tapas dishes
If I had to choose one as a favorite it would have to be the Mini Hamburguesa.
Last but not least it was time to try the main dish was their Paella De Mariscos!
PAELLA DE MARISCOSโ29 SM / 49 MED
Bomba rice, monkfish, sepia, squid, shrimp, clams, mussels, saffron, salsa verde
