BareBurger is one of those uber popular spots known for their “better burger” experience.
With some menu favorites like their Bison and Elk burgers.

Since their burgers are such a huge hit I wondered if their chicken sandwiches were just as good.
So I decided to hit up one of their UWS Manhattan locations.
I arrived a little after 12:30p and waited to be seated by the hostess.
Admittedly I was surprised on how spacious this Bareburger location was.
Conversely I really liked the decor and layout here.
OK NOW LETS TALK FOOD & DRINKS
The humidity has been pretty high here in New York City and on this particular day it was very warm out.
Rather than ordering an alcoholic beverage I opted for lemon water which I traveled with in my favorite water bottle.
In the meantime my appetizer arrived, I went with their Honey Brussels.

I actually really enjoyed this appetizer, I loved the combination of sweet& savory flavors.
After that my Chicken Sandwich and Fries arrived.
For my entree I with with their Spicy Bacon Chix & All Natural Sweet Potato Fries.
SPICY BACON CHIX
uncured bacon, baby swiss, sweet & spicy pickle,
jalapeño ranch
While the ingredients described on this chicken sandwich initially sounded appetizing it missed the mark!
To say nothing of the fishy taste the bacon had for some strange reason.

My sweet potato fries we decent they could have used a nice dipping sauce to compliment them.
This restaurants location did not have a dessert menu.
However they did give out small bags of popcorn, which I thought was a nice gesture.
