Santa Monica is one of those beautiful magical cities that you only find in California.
Known for its shops, aquarium, stunning Pier and of course delicious restaurants.
One of those restaurants is the popular local favorite Lobster & Beer joint .
Located on the historic Wilshire Blvd this restaurant has a really cool.
And the surrounding area is pretty cool too.
With palm trees that line the streets and super cool wall murals by local artist.
When you first walk in the restaurant there is a small but nice outdoor seating area.

After that you walk straight into the restaurants dining and seating area.
INDOOR SEATING AREA
The vibe here is definitely more Dive bar then restaurant.
I would suggest to call ahead for wait times.
As you can see the dining area is not very big at all.
And according to management they tend to get busy in the evenings.
Ok so now lets talk food.
I stopped in for their Happy Hour.
First we started off with some Cocktails.
We went their Peach Mimosa & House Margarita.
After that it was time for the appetizers.
Our waiter brought us out some chips & dips to start.
Not long after he brought the other appetizers we ordered.
Which was the Coconut Shrimp & Old Bay Cheese Fries.
Coconut Shrimp(4)

with sweet Chili Sauce
The coconut shrimp were good light and crunchy.
Old Bay Cheese Fries

3 Cheese sauce/Old Bay Seasoning
+Add Truffle +2
Of course the Old Bay cheese fries were delicious.
In truth you cant ever go wrong with Cheese and Old Bay in a recipe.
Finally it was time for the main attractions the Lobster Roll & Cajun Shrimp Rolls.
Maine Roll
chilled Maine lobster/lemon herb mayo/ celery/old bay/green onions.
Cajun Shrimp Roll
grilled cajun shrimp/mayo/green onion
Overall both rolls were tasty and enjoyable.
Although I would have liked the Cajun Shrimp roll to have a bit more of a kick.
To sum things up I would absolutely recommend Lobster and Beer.
The location, Happy Hour and great customer service makes for a nice time out!
