There aren’t too many dishes that I love more than Ramen noodles.
“Itโd be an understatement to say that ramen isย one of the worldโs favorite foods.“
But I really hate the Ramen Rush!
When I go for Ramen its usually at a time that I consider my me time.
On my lunch break, after work or on the weekend’s.
The problem is most Ramen joints seem to have you on some sort of dining clock.

I get so annoyed when the waiters are constantly coming over removing my plate every-time I finish a dish.
Asking “Are you done with that” No lady I am not done with that!
I always feel like saying “I’m sorry am I keeping you from something? Like what’s the rush?
Or are you just waiting to clean off the table.
for the next poor soul for you to rush out .
all while giving you their hard earned money for payment!
But thankfully not all Ramen joints are alike, Peng’s Noodle Folk on New York’s UES offers a alternative to the Ramen rush.

Not only is it super spacious for a Ramen joint , its also has a really nice dining area.

Now lets talk food!
Everything at Peng’s is delicious and tasty.

My Veggie dumplings were really good, nice and crispy.
I love everything spicy so I usually pick the spiciest Ramen bowl on the menu. Like this one!
Tan Tan Men Ramen
minced pork, scallion, bean sprouts, corn kernels, red radish, green soy bean, kale

Between the fresh and ingredients and the spicy pork my bowl was perfection!
Undoubtedly one of my favorite combinations of flavors in a bowl.
In conclusion I would totally recommend Peng’s Noodle Folk for your next Ramen destination.
