This flavorful, complex comfort food or “Street Food” is actually the Main Dish.

After seeing a couple of these restaurants around the city I wanted to find out what the PHO in PHO SHOP stood for.
This Pho-Shop opened on New York’s Upper West Side late last year, there is also one on the Upper East Side.
I decided I would do some hands on research at the Pho Shop.
Once inside the restaurant I was really impressed with the aesthetics.
The gold light fixtures and bamboo style wall figures really gave the place a cultural feel.

Next it was time to place my order, there was so much to choose from.
They had a really great lunch menu so I decided to order some Pho-Soup from there.

So after going over the menu a few times I decided to go with their Vermicelli | Bฯn

The waitress was really nice and very tolerant of the questions I asked her.
Vietnamese soup consisting of broth, rice noodles.
This dish can be found at almost every food vendor in Vietnam.
Although its a soup dish traditionally its served as the main course.
Finally as I write this review we are in the middle of a Pandemic. As a result this restaurant as well as many others are closed for dine-in.
Needless to say I hope to visit this restaurant again as soon as this thing is over.
