Nestled in the lush green hills of Marlboro you will find Benmarl Winery. Overlooking the historic Hudson River Valley, it’s 37 acre estate lays claim to the oldest vineyard in America. The winery also holds New York Farm Winery license no.1.
Benmarl Winery is one my absolute favorite winery’s to visit.
There is just so much to do and see here you send hours trying to see it all.
With breathtaking views of the Hudson Valley it is truly an escape.
And even more acres of beautiful grounds to match!

The rich history of the winery can be felt and seen everywhere you explore on the property.
Now lets talk food.
There is a small shop where you can purchase made to order bites.
And on the weekends you can order their Wood Fire Pizzas.

I have tried almost everything here and I must say the food is pretty good.
Especially their Wood Oven Pizza, it is a must try.

Look For: Lime, orange blossom and tropical mango.
Dry Rose:Category: White
Look For: Strawberries and cream, cranberry, soft acidity

Look For: Rich cherry and chocolate notes, vanilla spice and currants
Malbec:Category: Red
LOOK FOR: Rich Plum, hints of smoky tobacco & dark cocoa
Proprietors Reserve:Category: Red
Look For: Cassis, ripe cherry aromas, coffee and subtle vanilla notes.
Merlot:Category: Red
Look For: Black cherries, cedar, coffee and velvet tannins

The outdoor wine tastings are really such a unique and fun experience.
