Monday restaurant and bar is one of the most prominent Brunch spots in New Orleans.

“Located in one of New Orleansโ most historic neighborhoods, Mid-City, Monday is an indoor/outdoor dining destination .”
“Monday promises to deliver a singular blend of excellent food, innovative cocktails, and one-of-a-kind experiences, making it the perfect Event Hosting and Brunch Spot.”

First opening its doors back in 2022 to rave reviews their popularity continues to grow.
For this reason I highly suggest you make a reservation.
Me and the girls had a 3pm Sunday afternoon reservation.
I must say the restaurant was absolutely rocking.
With many customers waiting for their names to be called and seated.
Not to long after the hostess called my name and led us to our table.
Which at first was outdoors but we requested indoor seating instead.
That Nola heat is no joke and the temperatures that day were to high for outdoor dining in my opinion.
It should be noted that the staff were super helpful and accommodating of my request.
Not only was I able to get re-seated indoors but also there was no additional wait time.
Now lets talk food!
First I started off with some Cocktails.
We ordered both their Mimosa Tower & Mimosa Flight.

Mimosa Tower $85
( 12-15 servings)
Full disclosure I didn’t know how big this tower was until it arrived at the table.
Without a doubt a waste of money in my opinion.
Also it was not that great tasting to much juice and hardly no alcohol.
Certainly would not order the Mimosa Tower again.I would not recommend it.
Conversely their Mimosa Flight was better tasting and a bit more enjoyable.
Mimosa Flight $30
( 4 servings)
After that our server started slowly bringing out our food.

First they brought out the appetizer’s which was their Seafood Pizza & Boudin Eggs Rolls.
SEAFOOD PIZZA
Gulf shrimp, Louisiana crawfish, blue crab meat on a bed of mozzarella cheese & white sauce.

BOUDIN EGG ROLL
wonton wrapped boudin (cooked sausage made from pork meat and rice), fried to a golden crisp served with our house made viet sauce

If I had to choose between the two I would go with the Boudin Egg Rolls again.
Following that it was time to dig into my entree.
I decided to go with their most popular Brunch menu item the Lamb Chops & Grits.
Although this dish didn’t really wow me, I did still enjoy it!
Lastly because I am a total dessert girly the server brought out the Sweet Potato Beignets.
