Earlier this month I took a trip to California, while there I did two of my favorite things.
And those two things are going to Disneyland and checking out a new restaurant to review!
It is very hard to have a bad day at the happiest place on earth!
But it does take a lot out of you so I needed to refuel with some good eats.
Needless to say my visit to The Olive Restobar totally did the trick!

I must say I immediately fell in love with the decor and location of this restaurant.
When I first arrived I initially asked for seating on their outdoor patio.
But the weather turned very quickly so I then requested a seat indoors.
Even though the indoor seating section was pretty crowded our wait time was not bad.
Conversely the management team was super nice and very accommodating for our large party.
Now lets talk Food & Drinks.
As per usual we started off with some Cocktails.
Next we had the appetizers in which all were delicious!
Spicy Hummus– served with Pita Bread
Our creamy hummus with red chili pepper VGN GF +3 for vegan loaded
Sweet & Spicy Shrimp
Jumbo shrimp sautรฉed in roasted jalapeรฑos and drizzled with wildflower honey GF
Following that we started on our scrumptious entrees.
The Olive Kabob Platter
Choose any 2 kabob skewers-Rice pilaf or saffron couscous, grilled tomato, jalapeรฑo and onion. Tahini sauce and garlic paste
PESTO SHRIMP FETTUCCINE
Sautรฉed jumbo shrimp, pesto sauce, arugula, capers, fettuccine pasta
Grilled Filet Mignon
8oz Prime filet mignon medallions, roasted garlic mash, veal demi glace
Pancakes
3 Fluffy pancakes, fresh seasonal berries, fresh whipped cream,100% Maple Syrup
Not only was I very pleased with my meal, but so was the rest of my party.
And so we moved on to ordering dessert.
- Chocolate Pistachio Gelato-custard gelato swirled together with chocolate and pistachio
- Chocolate Croissand Bread Pudding-warm dark chocolate and croissants baked in a vanilla bean custered , with house made ice cream and fress seasonal berries
- Crรจme Brulee-creamy custard tapped with caramelized sugar
The desserts were decadent and delicious each one was a hit!
Lastly I really enjoyed my whole meal, the decor is beautiful and the customer service was great!
In conclusion I would highly recommend this spot for a great dining experience.
